Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Sorry, I didn't express myself very well. What I meant was that when you see the characters speaking, it then sets up the subconscious expectation for any further lip flap to sync to something. So while i could see that you weren't going for lip sync, i was distracted working it out.
If you see what i mean.
I appreciated the internal sync in the gits video, but still feel that it lacked sufficient pace... just my 2c.

I finished the new version of Revy. Let me know if it strikes you as being technically better.

The version 3 beta of Guns~n~Revy is available here:

Much thanks to Mandi for showing me how to use the audio waveform to find the beats in the music, as well as for all the compositional improvements. I felt like Helen Keller at the well. It was such a simple thing, but had never occurred to me to use it.
Almost the entire vid has been re-worked once again. It now contains many more cuts and scene changes, and of course the timing has been greatly improved throughout the vid. It still contains the basic four segments, but many clips have been re-arranged or added, and an additional 20 or so seconds have been removed from the vid to try keep the action flowing.

Since volume three of Black Lagoon arrived a few days ago, I decided to rip it and see what I could come up with. I think it came out quite well for a pure action vid, provided you don't mind listening to a little ZZ Top.
The pacing and cutting are definitely faster than in any of my other vids, so I hope that you guys who have been suggesting I try that will like what you see. There certainly isn't any down time in the vid.
