  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.

Now this is the kind of editing I fall in love with. :O

*Mucho beuno points for the concept.

*Mucho mas points for the wonderful execution of the concept.

*Grande points for gorgeous video/sound quality.

* points for interesting use of lyric & digical effects syncs.

* :D points for using footage not typically used from respective anime

* points for long scenes chosen and not cut more evenly out & for missed beats

I think it could have been better, but this was still really beautiful in an emotional sense of the word. Also major respect points for using slighly overused anime and taking them in a totally new light.

Oh and did I mention that I am totally in love with this concept? :O

I loved the first minute. It had a great mood and atmosphere, and it just worked. But after that it kinda took a different direction, and some of the lyrical synch became a bit too literal. I wish you'd kept it going in the same theme as the first minute...

The AI theme was pretty good, although it kinda changed focus a bit later on. The only thing that kinda bugged me was the fact that since the focus changed, the 'mechanical sounds' in the song (i have no idea what to call them, the beeping like sounds...) weren't used anymore and just felt a bit awkward since you used them in the beginning, but the lyric sync made up for that =). Nice work :)

Overall I liked this AMV. As others have mentioned, I preferred the first minute of the video when it was talking "about" A.I., but I still thought it was an interesting twist (later in the video) to look at the world from an A.I.'s perspective. Good work!

I have the same stance as cal. as soon as it became less abstract, it was pretty much crappy concerning scenes and editing.
this had so much more potential.

Nice job, probably would have worked better had you used more robot stuff though.
