  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.

I liked it. But you need to find good balance between effects and other sources. The sync wasn't well in every place. Also too long 3D effect in the middle and cuts were too small at the end of the video. Anime source was in bad quality. Overall you made catchy action video. You have a good basis to make awesome video in future, but you need to spend more time on it. Good luck. :P

Damn man what happened to your great skill to let effects and synch be one unit?
this looked like one big mess, the visual effects were inappropriate and felt totally out of place, the messy action synch did not do much for it either (it seemed like you were trying too hard on the effects but fully missed out on the action synch)

i really hope this video was just a slip...

There's nothing wrong with riot gear if used creatively.... after the second time i used it as mattes/transitions in the same way I began experimenting ... i got bored much like i did with WMM transitions. So now because I suck to much to design my own textures and stuff I just futz with riotgear or other crap.

Hmmm the cards and spinning layers .... ;[ feels so much like just copying other peoples ideas effects.

Now I didn't personally mind the video... but it's not an amv really just crap loads of effect, I'm sure you put a lot of work into it, and the concept is pretty damn flimsy with effects just filling in the blanks, try to use effects to enhance your video not to become your video... well that's what I personally like.

Your visual quality was pretty horrid in parts.

I am keeping it, but I doubt I will watch it much.
I honnestly don't know how many novels you've read but i think you really need to work on story, concept and flow more than your effects. That doesn't mean stop using effects but try and check out some videos maybe by Pwolf or Silver moon/seira lorna that show how to enhace the video with effects.
new banzors in the making :p

yah so i guess i better go into detail a bit more

aside from the use of effects, presets or not, doesnt mean i still didnt enjoy it, i loved it tbh.tho, Ur episodes were a bit lameshameo buddy! Some parts of ur video looked very distraught quality wise. there were a couple parts i felt u either got lazy or ur deaf coz u didnt sync some parts the same way u started, not that thats bad, but it wud of been nice if u kept the sync consistent all the way through. the whole 3D part was a bit bland and u cud of done soo much more with that if u really put some thought into it.

i think also completely not expectin somethin like this from u has probably gave it mor of a wowfactor(yessss) for me.

even with all these negatives i stil give it 4.5/5 coz i love u like a fat kid loves cake

anyways go home nub

I thought this was excellent.. Rrezz' used AE for not long and he mustered up enough to make this AMV. I was very impressed when I saw this

Meh, seems like a pretty cool vid to me. I don't get why everyone's hating on all the effectsy videos these days. At least people have to put some amount of effort into them. I mean, did people get tired of hating on the Linkinball Z vids, or what :\

This video is good, provided you take it for what it is. It's random action. It gets your pulse going, and gets the fuck out of the way before it overstays its welcome. By that standard, this is great. The effects enhance this pretty well.

Twice as much action, and ten times as comprehensible as TT.
