2. Tried to install MS-DOS6.22 on a WinME machine + 4.3GB multipart HDD (just so I could use to play DOS games.) As soon as I hit OK, it took out both primary & secondary partition and reboot. Lost a lot of VGMVs.
Worst thing(s) you ever done to your comp...

1. Fitted a NES cartridge on a ISA-slot. Thought I would be able to play on it.. Turned it on and ~BZZT!!~ Bye bye motherboard!

Guide to getting a new computer:
Send cash to klinky
klinky acts like he knows wtf he's doing
klinky goes to hawaii
you cry.
yep yep...
Okay you've had two PANSY computers, it's time to build your own because you're getting jipped by paying 2x on shitty parts
Oh and as for bad things I've done! Uhhh.
*Kicked hard drive across room. Me and Kthulhu would take the computer apart and put it back together again and it would work fine for a couple days then the hard drive would pop up a error something like "Invalid Media: Sector 0 unreadable". The only cure was to take it apart and put it back together, it would magically work for a few days after this. Well, I was so sick of it, I ripped it out of the computer(case was off) and kicked it across the room after about the 50th time of it doing this. It never worked after that. That computer was a piece of shit.
*Way back before I had REAL working computer. I picked up a computer from a hippy across the street for $5, well actually me and kthulhu did. The thing didn't really work. So I decided the best course of action was to stab the power supply with a butter knife. This is a bad idea. I later learned you can kill yourself since there are high voltage capacitators inside the power supply. Baka me, but I am still here.
*I took a floppy drive apart with out figuring out how I was going to put it back together.
*I crushed the edge of the CPU die on my Duron while installing a heatsink, it still worked fine and overclocked from 600 to 900Mhz
.
*I bet I hooked up the power supply cables wrong atleast once, I don't think it fried the motherboard it it should have.
Ahh I am sure there are more. Kthulhu used to be l33t in the computer hardware field and all, then he took apart a old 386 we had and he installed the CPU in wrong and it went up in smoke.... Really it went up in smoke. He hasn't been the same since, he gets wussy and asks alot of questions when troubleshooting hardware.

when i was little i stuffed a toy in the cd drive and when i hit the button, it made a funny buzzing sound.
and when faerie was little she put bubblegum on her floppy disk and shoved it in the floppy disk space thingy.
faerie and i tormented our computer when she was 5 and i was 3.

ic.... you ppl are crazy.... of course.... what i did wasn't any better...
i had just bought a cd burner... and installed it... i had just enough time to burn all of X TV to cd... and some programs like premeire and stuff.... and then i decided i needed to partition my drive for some reason... i then loaded Partition Magic Pro 7..... it got about 30% done and then said... ERROR...... i was like..... OH! FUCK!!!!
so then i searched for a few hours for information on how to recover a NTSF drive... to no avail i had no choice but to format...
so i lost 30 gigs of anime.... all my music... 18000 sids... my project files... FUCK!!!! but anyways... i started over... and now i'm posting here... why i didn't throw my hard drive at a squirrel in the tree outside... i don't know... but meh..... that's the baka that is my computer....
