  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Waiting For Death

Yup, here's another one. Just so everyone knows...I've been working on this for the last few weeks when I got frustrated with Yokata, so don't think I rushed it. I've been trying really hard to take more time with the videos. This is also my first attempt at an action-y kind of video. I'm not sure if it worked. It still seems more like drama to me. And, while I didn't do a lot of it...I think my lip syncing skills may be improving. At least a little bit anyway. I'm also going to try to get an mp4 version of this on up too, but I'm still in the "what the crap am I doing?" point. Soon maybe. So, having said all that pointless mumbo-jumbo...have fun and enjoy!

Your amv was okay :D Hated the music though, but that's a matter between me and Greenday.

Anyways, nice going Emo-chan

On a serious note, you did good on making the footage match the song. Although I must admit I was a bit bored. But then again, I was bored with Death Note when I watched that aswell.

I'm glad you thought it was ok! But what does Green Day have to do with it? XD

You, sire, deserve most improved editor for next year.

:O

*Nice Lip Sync.

*Very nice death note action/drama video. You used scenes that NOBODY has ever probably thought to use. You used footage that is not in a typical video, which I beleive is a blessing in disguise. What's more, I don't believe I saw a Death Notebook except towards the end, and then it was used classily, as to help portray Kira's character. You also kept from letting Kira killing random people. For that, this deserves download.

*What makes this video so successful is the unique use of the footage. IS not the typical Death Note video.

*Sometimes you cut a tad too fast here and there. But that's just a minor gripe.

I await your next release with a whole heart.

Thank you SO MUCH! I like to use different footage, especially for Death Note. And I was really worried about having the whole "Kira writing names down" moment, since it's used so much. But, I'd never used it before so I figured, what the hey...
I'm glad that my lip syncing was good. With more practice, I might even be able to sync with a whole song XD.

I found the scenes you used somewhat unexpected, but I have to say, it was a pleasant surprise. The scenes went with the music incredibly well.

Thank you very much. I was really trying to do something as different or original as possible. And I was really hard to do with a series that consists of mostly talking. I've been very pleasantly surprised at people's reaction to it. :D
