  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Classic style Nausicaa vid, edited in an Iron Chef match vs. Meteor Dragon, inspired by C-Ko's "Fields of Gold."

READ THE ENTIRE ENTRY PAGE. If you can't figure out how to get this video, I ain't going to tell you in the announcement thread (HINT: this band's label doesn't like us. Let's try to be careful, shall we?).

Old school(ish) editing with old school(ish) anime. Quite enjoyed it considering I'm not a huge fan of the song.

Good jorb.

ah yes, i still remember when that was one of the most popular songs to use in an AMV

video could've done with a bit less lip flap here and there but apart from that nicely done

I liked this AMV, the selection of scenes is good from my point of view. The music is a strong point here, I love this song is one of my favorites, also has a good mood, great job!

But there are several problems, the first serious lack of emotion from AMV, this AMV offers very little emotion, I feel it is just an idea unpolished that makes this AMV has a poor concept, editing although I feel that it's okay, I feel that just happens usual, is poor in every sense, I think that the blows resulted use of music, and not just putting scenes with transitions, in general I am happy but I feel that could have been better!

3/5...

Nausicaa FTW!!!!

Not my most favorite song, but I think you did them both justice.

Hmm.... Twas a nice character profiling. I also think you did a good justice to Nausicca and that son.

I loved the "aural" sync, and that old style of editing. :O

But, I kind of have to agree with MegaMom. This just didn't have the kind of emotional impact that I like in my AMV's. I also think scene selection could have been better in parts.

But! Still good, overall.
