BROKEN BUTTERFLY - A Cowboy Bebop AMV

My first cowboy bebop AMV, well I just seen the movie a few days ago and decided to make an AMV. This AMV was a 345600 sec project but I have to say I like how it turned out. The main character is Spike Spiegel and other important characters in the AMV are Faye Valentine, Vincent Volaju and Electra Ovilo. It might be hard to see the story because the clips are moving fast. Used a 36gb video file to make this amv lol. The AMV doesn't have as many effects as some of my other ones but there are effects no doubt.

Programs Used:
AE 7
Vegas 7
Photoshop

I love all the lost prophets songs so I had to get this.

the video was pretty enjoyable till you came in with all the mask and scenes flying by and stuff.

the whole skeleton effect thing was actually ok. that was an effect right? I havnt seen the movie in like 3 or 4 years.

3.5/5

2.5/5, you could have had a 3 if not for all those shitty effects.

Shitty skeleton effect, and wtf is that bullshit at the end of the vid with those ugly cookie cutters and masks and color effects, that was horrible. Other than that I felt the pace was too slow through alot of the louder parts of the vid, it was decent, but it could've been a hell of alot better \:

aaand you used THORA's HDTV Rip of the movie, no?

Enjoyable video. Just one spot in it that I personally questioned but eh. As for the skeleton effect it worked a few times (The tracking could have been better when spike got punched in the face). But yea Nice stuff.

I liked it overall, the skeleton effect was a great idea but it didn't work out in all cases.
The storyline you were trying to portray was a little hard to pick up on given that I've seen the movie before
The part near the middle with the scenes flying by worked really well i thought, it was a trippy breakdown part of the song so it called for a trippy breakdown in the AMV

It was pretty good, there really should have been more editing to fit the pace of the song. 3.5/5
This is probably the best looking version of Bebop I have seen, what source did you use?

The idea with the X-ray vision was nice, but a little overdone imo. Using it on still frames seemed the better option. Very interesting nonetheless. Sync was good, source was of good quality. And I totally love the song. Nice job.

Freaking huge resolution...1280x688
I basically agree with DaCoolGohan here, you should've synched and edited more during the parts of the song that really called out for action and movement. But I actually still liked this video. The effects were interesting, although the stuff near the ending looked kind of iffy to me, and overall this video had a kewl feeling to it, which I liked.
Pretty nice job man, keep it up. 3.5/5
