Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

oh no.. it's not my first amv
it's just that no body ever pointed at the things i'm doing wrong before
you guys helped me alot ^_^
On what you really have to work on is your music sync.
You need to learn how to sync your videos better. It's not all that hard either! Just look for a change in musical pace to make a split in video. Heck, even throw in a digital effect or transition to make it smoother.
i always thought making the scene fellow the words of the song is all what i had to do..
i will try working on my music sync..
I guess the most user in the org like .mp4 a lot
Oh, and I highly suggest MP4 compression. File size is low, quality is high, and it's relatively simple to execute.
i will do that ^_^
Read my sticky.
thank you... it's really helpfull..

ACtually, lyric sync (using video to match words) is quite popular. It's fine to do that, just with other syncs combined. For example, if a I line goes:

"I'm going home... To the place where I belong"

A cut might be appropriate right after "home", and to another scene that matches the same sentence, instead of a long clip that lasts the entire sentence.

And again, this is only how "I" edit. We're not telling you to conform to our ways, we're just advising you on how you could evolve your own editing style further. Definitly don't discard you style of editing with slow songs, if that's what you like! Just try and experiment with other styles. Editors don't need to all be the same, otherwise this hobby would be quite boring. ^_^
