You know, I actually enjoyed this video tremendously. I love the footage you chose, and it worked quite well together with the music you chose. What also impressed me was the serious use of FLCL, and in a context that isn't used to.
However... The video quality could have been much cleaner! It was a big turn off as a whole. Compressing in MP4 would be much more successful. Or at least in XVID with better quality.
The scene selections used in this AMV was marvelous. While they were longer, and cuts were far and in between, I think that it was a successful measure in this video.
I love the text at the end too. It was very moving.
Personally, I am giving this AMV (which does have several flaws) a 4.25/5.00
The concept and execution of the video was new and interesting. A nice take away from the current trend of AMV editing.
Work on that footage though!
If you need any help, PM ME! ^_^

Please DONT LIE in your Descriptions. This Video Quality was more than horrible :/
Excessive Macroblocking through the whole Videos, wrong Aspect ratios, fuzzyness, etc. The Audio Quality was bad as well, 128 K/bits is a way too low bitrate, its the shitty quality you get with most downloads from illegal download softwares. And with a higher bitrate the audio can sound sooo much better.
Simply Put: The Quality sucked ass.
As for the Video, it felt rather boring and not like anything special, more like you just threw in romantic scenes to a slow song without thinking of synching anything.
Overall this Video gets a 2/5 from me, could have been much better.
I really liked that last sentence in the Vid though, that rly was very romantic
oh, btw..I was wondering why Chrono mentioned FLCL in his post, because its not in the description, so after downloading I saw the scenes you used, you should rly list flcl there (i have no clue why you didnt do it to begin with).

That's right! You need to work with a lossless codec. The results will be much better. You might also want to work on your music sync. That was just horrible. All in all I give you a 3/5, because I liked the mood and the scene selection a lot. That was really nicely done! I am excited to see more and then hopefully with a better visual qualityKevmaster wrote: The Quality sucked ass.

Wow, can you be a little bit more respectful when posting?Kevmaster wrote:Simply Put: The Quality sucked ass.

Some people are still learning on these programs or dont
use After Effects, or know how to compress files.
Just keep that in mind when you respond to other peoples projects.

Im personally not a fan of romantic videos.
Im more of an action kind of person. heh.
But however, I did enjoy this video.
I did like how you incorporated all the scenes w/the song.
Some scenes were dead on w/the lyrics.
I do agree with CodeChrono on his/her post.
About the scene selections, and text at the end,
which made for a very moving segment.
Although, the quality could have been a little bit better.
It was still good, but it has room for improvement. ^^
(And no disrespect to you, theres a lot worser quality videos still out there.)
But eh, what are you gonna do?
Sometimes ripped footage is not all that good either.
Like I said, I did enjoy it.
And for your 3rd AMV, it was pretty awesome.
But it doesn't matter what I think,
or what Kevmaster thinks,
or what anyone else thinks.
It was made by you.
Its how you feel about it.
And thats all that matters.
Overall score: 4/5

Im sorry you guys think the quality is bad :(
When I first uploaded this I didnt check the quality I had outputted it in, but then I quickly realized it was BAD... so I deleted it and uploaded a better quality version
Did you guys download the .mpg format one, or the .avi one?
The avi one I uploaded is much better although Im sure it can be reworked
I have the original file (700+ MB) which is STUNNING quality but since you all think my scenes need more work I think I'll edit it a bit more
But for my first attempt at using Sony Vegas I think I did okay (considering I just got the program 2 days ago)
Thank you so much for your opinions it really means a lot to me that you guys took the time to give your criticism :)
I will definitely rework this AMV and repost. I think it has potential to be a favorite!

No?shikai_li wrote:Wow, can you be a little bit more respectful when posting?

This is as respectful as I can get in this case.
Why? If they don't know how to do, someone has to tell them that what they do is BS, so they'll do better next time :/ I'm not gonna be a kissass and tell someone how awesome he did if he didn't.shikai_li wrote:Some people are still learning on these programs or dont

And Pozorrogo, I downloaded the .avi version and it was horrible, I suggest you to take a Look at The Guides and learn more about the technical stuff, so you will be able to archive better Quality for your next video.

For what?Kevmaster wrote:Who are you to say when someone takes something to serious? Maybe you just don't take it seriously enough
Its a hobby I enjoy doing time from time.
Its a side project, its recreation.
Its not paying my mortgage, why should I take it seriously?
Thats exactly why I meant stay in school.Kevmaster wrote:Sorry, I didnt understand?shikai_li wrote:Stay in school.
Thanks for the heads up about the signature.Kevmaster wrote:Btw...your sig too big, please read the Forum Rules and follow them in future.
But also, I think you need to read the first rule as well.

Anyways, I'm ending this subject.
All this bickering back and forth is getting off topic.
