i think villains make the best characters. my favorite character is ashram. aside from vegeta, he's one of the most dynamic villains i've seen. plus he's quite the badass

I can't choose one. I have a favorite character from practically every series. Alucard (Hellsing), Misato (NGE), Wolfwood (Trigun), Ein (Cowboy Bebop), Shireece (Scryed), Mireille (Noir), Haruko (FLCL), Chii (Chobits), they all rank up there, as do many, many others that I can't think of right now because I just woke up ^^.

Alucard is pretty cool...but I dont really have a favorite because I watch so many anime's it's hard to stay attached to one

you do know that this topic has been made about a billion times before, anyway, i think it's obviuos to anyone who has talked to me knows that gats from berserk is the best anime character in the world in my opinion.

Here are my top 5 favorite anime characters

1- Gene Starwind
1- Lina Inverse
3- Vash
4- Ranma
5- Gallory

The reason I choose Gene for #1 is because I think his personality kind of fits mine. Then Lina tied because she looks innocent but she is not a person you want to mess with. Then Vash he is just has a lot of bad luck, but also good luck. Then Ranma for the situations he gets himself into. Then Gallory just for the remarks he makes and how dumb he is.
