I agree with Judge, it's rather insane... but some ppl just like procedures. I myself don't use markers, don't even know how to use them and what I'd do with them if I did!!- but 1 that fact is rather evidant in my rather 'bland' editing lol and 2 that's also due mostly to the fact 1 of my editing sessions may be 1 week long so there's very little time for possibly forgeting something. that and I absolutely 'rape' (as my MUCHO annoyed roommates USED to put it... they kicked me out of the house and put on a party when I left... lol) these songs, ie listen to them hundreds of times consecutively, BEFORE I even edit.

sorta' removes the whole reason for markers...

I use the markers when i know i have to get some work done but i don't exactly feel particularly creative. Might as well get something done so i'm not agonizing over hearing something different each time when i actually want to edit.

I was having troubles through a difficult stretch of beats and this worked perfect. Thanks.

I don't use markers. I razor tool my audio track to shit. That's my marker. Cuts in the audio. Somehow I always know what I'm planning in my head, and always remember where each thing goes, and the razor marks just help me find that spot faster : \

I have a quick question, what are these "markers" I keep hearing about and how do you add them? Is it to the audio track or to the video track? Are they keyframes? Are they opacity settings? I really want to know lol.

Please and thank you.

If there's a stretch of beats that are hard to catch, I try to determine the spots by tapping my fingers to the beats on the desk or whatever to determine where some beats are, and then I use a marker. Chyea.
