My first AMV with Sony Vegas

Hopefully I can get a professional opinion on this. It's the first vid I've made that seems to be maybe good enough for this place so here goes.

Okay, y'all can take it apart now.

that was actually pretty good. although you did go overboard with the effects

. effects are supposed to enhance the video, not the video is sposed to enhance the effects. not exactly original so you would lose points there, but it had its moments, 3.5/5

i decree that scott must watch this vid for great justice (or mostly cause its AC)

This is mah org name yo. Already talked about this with ya over AIM, not bad. Bit overboard on effects and your transitioning was a bit much. Still a nice vid, 3/5

This is why you shouldn't try to copy someone else's Idea :/

The Visual Effects were annoying and did not fit with the Video, toning them down or using them in a better way would have been lots better (orly? lol).

Now what about the Theme (and song+anime combination). Did this actually have a Theme? It was just random fighting scenes and whatnot, How did this fit the Theme of the song?

And I don't even feel like starting about the Quality Issues. Wrong Aspect ratio & Horrofying audio quality, the 2 worst things you can do to your Video (technical-wise).

I just can't stop myself from giving it a 1/5, sry :/

I didn't copy anyone. I had the idea on my own. But, as Reda has made me aware, I know now that it has been done before.

As for theme, yeah there wasn't much of one. But, the song was about racing so I tried to incorporate a lot of motorcycle scenes into it.

I'm sorry for the effects too. It was just all really new to me and I wanted to try out as much as possible.

And thanks for not starting on the quality issues. I really did kinda just stumble and trip my through AMVapp.

gah, you know my opinion already but now I'll sound 2-faced after hearing everyone else's opinions. I have to agree somewhat.
the beginning was good but that filter towards the middle and the end sort of thew me off.
i still think it's awesome. (at least for Eden's Forum's standards xD LAWL)<<actually it's close to godly in eden =p (which is why i can't ever properly crit you guys there -__-;; )

try not to let the effects control the vid. "editing" is the keyword. edit the clips together you know? (do i make sense? )

Wasnt bad for a 1st vid. I wish mine could have been this good.

You didnt overuse nasty fx and hit every single darn beat like most ppl do with there 1st video. The flow was great for a 1st and almost all 1sts dont have any flow. You also learned some advanced fx pretty fast even though i didnt really like them. Like example didnt like how you went a little overboard with te boxes. And I highly reccomend not using the portals effect or almost any of vegas's built in transitions.

Over all being honest here if it were just some video i would like give it a 3/10 but for the fact that its you first ill give you a 7/10.

Ill be looking forward to your future videos.

Overall: 3/10

Advent Children = Japanese
Animation + Japanese = Anime
