"it was boring because it was random" so a random action vid must be boring too? since its random as you put it. I wasn't trying to sum up the movie, having ever scene go in order from beginning to end. Once again "TRYING to go for something different"...anyway, your "input" is appreciated.
I suggest to try "different editing", that usually makes up for the rest.

The style I chose for this vid fits fine. Having "zomg" amazing effects would of made the vid worse. The song is like narrating a story, you dont need the vid to rely heavily on effects. Once again, thats your opinion.

lol I love how you guys think its "random"

im bored as hell so im butting in

if you thought about it for a second you would realise why he choose each clip. the video actually relies on lyric sync most of the time which is a diffrent style of editing as apposed to a bunch of random sword fighting scenes where you you have flashes on every beat.

I wrote: Other than some lyric synching you threw here and there, it was random as fuck. Someone would expect a video like this to at least follow a row of events. The editing couldn't compensate for this either, because it was just boring. 2/5.

The way I see it Kadaj and Kev can't really tell anybody to have "interesting" and "New" editing methods. Hypocrisy at its finest.

It was different, not in the way of editing. It had the same raw editing that every FF vid has, just slower. it's different because nobody gets punched in the face or has crazy motorcycle chase.

This is sad. Although I've seen it coming a long time ago, but I have to say it now. I'm not sure if people know how to rate or review anymore. If you're gonna review, at least make it so it makes sense for it to get the score it gets. Not just, "It's good but boring but I liked it 2/5" That utterly makes no sense.

I've never particularly posted in his video posts before or reviewed his videos much, so this isn't a kiss-ass attempt. For the most part, Shinodude, ZeroLink, moonie211, NerdStrudel, and even NfpSouljah, are the only ones that gave a decent reviews. Not because they were positive ones, but because they make sense.

I don't like watching many Final Fantasy videos, because obviously, those are the ones that are boring because you know what's going to happen and how it's going to end. How is that not boring? Same scenes, same action to every beat, same way it ends. As always. But it's a great video because it has action to a random song. Nice one there.

For the most part Shinodude took the words out of me already, I haven't seen any other "different" or "better" Final Fantasy videos besides it being the same. And this is all excluding Crisis Core footage. Many different songs varies the way you edit, you can't have a slow song with fast paced scenes, can't have a fast action song with dramatic slow scenes, and can't have a song with a theme and a random video without one.

But what do I know, I'm the same as everyone elses voided opinions. Least I can watch it and not expect what's to be there. Oh look, no Sephiroth, there goes my day.
KingDavid -
#1 People are going to nagg and whine about the source quality [Old source, dont ask]
#2 the song may not be to people's taste.
#3 a FF:AC vid not ending in Cloud killing Sephiroth might be like burning a Cross
#4 People fear change, a vid that actually has a plot instead of re-telling the movie. *coughnightdrivecoughletmercycomecoughbrokencough* Sorry, I have a really bad allergic reation to rehashed ideas.
Didn't see that one coming either. Anyone else?
