It's not really that he used heart attacks that caused the problem he wanted people to know the deaths were connected. It's that he challenged L, and purposely gave clues "I'm a student", blah blah blah blah, same with Near and Mello if Light wasn't out to prove he was hot stuff he could have ruled the world without ever having got caught.

As soon as I hit 70 I'd take them. It's better to lose maybe 5 years of your life than 35.

Everyone i have talked to insists that the manga is a ton better cause it pays more attention to detail and the rules of the deathnote.

The anime may leave you hanging or leave you thinking there's tricks to get around the rules for the deathnote. Well it did for me anyways. I'm sure there are ways to get around some of the rules though.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

x2

The manga is sooooo much better. ^_^

As for the eyes? No, because the true measure of how intelligent a person is is by getting somebody's name without the eyes. (And I don't like the whole 1/2 life thing)

If I know the rules correctly you get to write the name, then write they way they die right?

so I'll write
Myself -- On the eve of his 300th Birthday from Excessive Sex with 20 year old Scandinavian women.

You can only set the time of death up to 23 days in advance and if you set an impossible situation then the person just dies of a heart attack...

Also you can only control one person in any discription if you include multiple names in one discription then everyone dies of a heart attack (the live action movies had a work around for that though).

What you want is the Me-su Note... which is a Japanese porno movie with a note book that you can make any two people have sex...

I doesn't work if you write down an impossible method of death, FC. And I'm not talking about your age of death here :O
