I never scrap projects. I have half done videos from 2002. Most notably "Ghost." SOBE was in fact begun in 2002, not completed until 2005.

There is one exception:

I almost remade this video, and stopped when I found it. That was 2001.

My first two AMVs sucked more balls than Ultraviolet, so it's not too exciting. But I finished my second video in the time it took my first to upload.

well, letsee - according to my profile, it says about 70 hours over 2.5 months... and time between first and second vid was probably a few months.

I have 1 abandoned video - a race video I wanted to using 3 sources (which now I think back, was a bit too ambitious for a sophomore video, but meh). The reason I abandoned it was the lack of suitable footage from one of the sources (damn Akira - I thought there was a lot more motorcycle footage in that...). That one 'crashed and burned' before editing ever started - I just wished I had started gathering clips with Akira rather than ending with it...

I made my second AMV before I made my first.

I think it was about two weeks between the first and second, and took like 3 or 4 hours. In retrospect it was so bad I've practically disowned it, although later on I slapped a different song over it and felt as decently satisfied with that version as I could instead.

There's only three projects I've not finished or been actively working on, and they came much later:
  • One from early 2004 (which I can't host locally if I ever do finish it, due to using "Broken", specifically the duet version - after that whole mess with Wind Up my desire to see that video completed dropped almost completely off, if it hadn't already by that point)
  • One remaster of an early video. This one will probably be scrapped and completely redone if I decide to do anything more with it. Again from 2004, I think.
  • One almost-complete video that I've just not had the motivation to finish up. From late 2004 - started about a month and a half or so before starting Decisions, actually, and was probably the first time my focus really turned to having nearly-constant internal sync. One of these days I will finish it, but I'll also need to remaster it first as it used fansubs as footage, and looking at it now there are definitely areas that need improvement, like lip sync.
  • In short, 2004 just had its fair share of problems with me getting videos done.
I do have one project I've been working on sporadically since Summer '06, but it's simply a compilation of a bunch of shorts.
