I liked very much this video =)
Not very original for a 5 Centimeters per Second amv, but I took great pleasure to watch it.

Very nice, good job =)

So I take it 90% of wai-con amvs will be 5cm per second. You can definently say 90% of the drama/romance category will be 5cm per second.

Anyway, /gets

Cool, my WAI entry will stand out then. :o

Pretty good editing, and the matchup is decent, just cant go for the song.
x2. The song fit, but that didn't help me to like it any better.

But this has one of the more well thought out stories of all the 5 cm vids I've seen. And you actually used the surfer girl, who seems to be excluded from most videos. Points 4 U. You also made really good use of the train crossing. Some times seemed like there was a missing climax, but those times are few and far between. Quality and all the other technical crap are, of course, perfect.

When the hell is the Aussie MEP coming out?? Or did I miss it... o.o

Thanks Zam... I like a story and that's always what I aim for... whether anybody understands or not is a different matter

Wasn't it also that the year before that (or maybe even on that year), 90% of the videos were from editors that were from or frequented the Amvience forums?

Thanks all for watching... yeah, I knew that I was going to get this whole, "oh, but this video is crap because it's been done before". It was a risk that I took not releasing this the day the anime was available even though I've had this project thought up since the trailers were released, but in the end, I made the video because it was an idea I wanted to make into reality, regardless of whether or not it was done before. :)

I loved this tbh. I mean, in terms of originality, it's not the most spectacular thing that's some out, but that can't really be helped since it's a movie, and you were going for a sentimental/romance AMV, which has been done before.

That being said, I think it stands out in terms of the story you were telling, and how well you managed to link some scenes together, crossing between the girl and the girl (in particular the train scene, and the cherry blossom scene)

Editing was solid, visuals looked great, and flow was very nice.

This isn't just another 5 Centimeters per Second video...actually yes it is, but it is good nonetheless. It's really good. This one tells a story, and the song used was just perfect. Editing was almost perfect, nice flow, nice sync. It's not really comparable to the "other" 5 Centimeters of Second videos because I get something different from this. To summarize, this is probably the best generic video for this anime I've ever seen that doesn't try to do something weird. Generic/unoriginality doesn't have to be a bad thing if it's done very well. I still enjoy random action videos now and then if the editing is nice.

I thought this was a pretty good video, the mood was great :). I haven't really watched many videos with this anime so I can't really comment on the originality of this. Overall it was a nice gentle video to watch.
