Oh. My. God.

The title is like moving on the poster :shock:

EDIT: That was deffinitely the most "original" yet the most pointless Place Promised AMV I've seen. At first I liked where it seemed to be going and what you did with the zooms was really cool, but when the texts kicked in I was disappointed. I have a strange rejecting effect when it comes to using texts in AMVs. Imo, they have to be *very* well written and technically executed. Otherwise they're just very corny..

This AMV turned out to be lacking any content or substance. It's the like the intro lasted for the first half of the video, the texts kicked in to start up the story and then it just suddenly ended. I think you should have used other songs or instrumental tracks to make it longer. It really needed that.

Though I agree with Emong on the fact that text effects need to be dealt with carefully, I still liked the overall feel of this video. I found it to be oddly entertaining, maybe because you used such battle sounding music instead of a predictable ballad. I generally don't dl Beyond the Clouds vids simply because they all feel too similar to me, but dl-ing a "short instrumental" couldn't hurt. ^^ I think the general flow could've used a bit more refining and the vid as a whole felt like something more experimental than something substantial. Good job, though!

Extra props for doing something different with the climax scene of the movie :P
[btw...I don't know if I would consider this sentimental as compared to dramatic]

I thought the song was completely wrong for the concept. It was way too dark and...tribal, I guess?...for your story. Also, the text was...hmm...well, I thought the writing itself was alright, but the font was COMPLETELY wrong. Overall I didn't really like this...the mood was just all wrong in my opinion. Also, you might wanna check the sync on some of those zoom-outs.

... Really? I thought it all came together really well. I loved everything from 0:09-the end. The text worked pretty good, it may have been a bit over-dramatic though. The only other thing i could of suggested was to maybe synch the xylophone with maybe piano keys or something. Also 1:16 you can see the bottom of the pic isn't feathered, looks a bit weird.
I really liked, short and sweet. 4/5:up:

thanks for the comments =D

@Clairelumiere:
Glad you liked it.

@Emong:
The song was too short to make a longer story. The funny think is that you are the first person who actually liked the static pictures. :D

@krzT:
Glad you enjoyed it. I tried not to make the usual "Beyond the Clouds stuff" and I've seen the climax scene of the movie so often in other amvs that I didn't really wanted to use it in mine.

@CrackTheSky:
It's maybe a question of taste. In my opinion the song really fits and the same goes for the mood. The sync of the zoom-outs seemed fine to me....
But still thanks for watching :)

@guy07:
Thanks guy =D
I'm glad you liked it.

@Bauzi
Sorry that it didn't worked for you, but still thanks for watching :)
