Problem with .rmvb to .avi
Hello guys,
I have a probelm. When I convert .rmvb files into .avi files, than I cant work with them in sony vegas. they tell me all the time that they couldnt find any video stream.
so is there any good converter or do you have an other idea?

History repeats itself ..
.. don't feel too bad; I tryed using AVISynch a while ago to take .rmvb files to "anything" but it never work! According to a few web pages it can be done. According to my experiments, even with their advise on how to do it, I've never created a useable file from an .rmvb

You should convert it to avi with a huffy or lagarith codec.
But assuming that your using divx/xvid clips{which you should not use since they lag and can break vegas} you need to open the xvid folder then find the program "Nics FourCC Changer" then drag/drop all your episodes in there switching xvid to divx, then they should work on vegas
