New AMV : Speedache

Hi there,

This is my new amv, Speedache.
Why this title? I compressed...speed and headache. Speed because...you'll see, and then i had an headache when i tryed to find a name ^^

Anyway :

Footage : Final Fantasy advent children (i'm sorry)
Music : Minerale (the band) - Millionnaire (the song).

You don't have to follow lyrics...follow my storyline please

I used this song just cause i like it, i like the singer, the rythm and melodies.

If i would sell this amv...damn, i would say that there's a lot of FFAC amv...too much i guess, but i tryed to do something different, by "creating" a storyline. So if you look this amv...please forgot the original story, forgot aerith, sephiroth, emo-vincent and much characters...and focus on mine

I realy hope you'll like it, cause i changed lot of things with my editing technique, and this exercice was pretty hard...but i think...lot better

Uhm..

Why did I find the combo a little weird? O.o Anyway, the first half was kind of a drag but as it went faster during the second half, I managed to enjoy it. You had nice moments of beat sync there but it was screaming for a lot more of it. Now it's lacking energy it should have had.. But the flow was ok and I liked the occasional editing tricks you used.

Anyway, what was with the clip selection?

An original story-line? O.o Hmm, it's good it was that because for a moment I thought this video was utterly lost. Is it a Tifa-Kadaj-Cloud drama / love triangle or something? I'm getting that sort of vibes from it.. I don't know.. I guess I should watch it some more so I could understand your story. It looked inspiring and interesting~ I guess I should give you some extra point for that.

Nice song and nice editing for a clip which stands out of all other FFVIIAC AMV by its storyline.

This is what we need.

Wow, man. You are so freaking talented, and though me (And many others, I hear) were sad to see you always focusing on a dark style, I have to say it's all forgiven with this video. Watching your videos, I always they were teetering on the brink of something... Something amazing. And I feel like this was a huge step in the right direction. This is the first video I've seen of yours that was spontaneous, where it didn't feel like you trying to make it go in one direction. You REALLY showed AC in a new light- unlike the many videos that supposedly do that- and in the process, brought warmth and power to your style that really got me.

Story-wise, I can see this getting alot of crap, because people are used to seeing something straight with AC. But for me, the most direct comparison to this vid would be Galaxy Bounce. And people didn't need a clear-cut story with that one.

Please, more like this

It was ok. Maybe I take the time and watch for the story that sees Greg, but I don´t think so. It didn´t caught me. Maybe because the music isn´t what I like to listen too.

Oh wait! I have the mp4. So no star rateing from my side on this amv.

Wow Imrallion. You just continue to impress me. I agree with what Greg said about this video - it's new, different, and refreshing, especially because it uses AC. (As a side note, I'm surprised at how many creative AC videos I've been watching recently; apparently, the horse hasn't been beaten to death yet).

I'm not *crazy* about the song, but I will definitely rewatch this - there's depth to be had and I feel like I really didn't take it all in on my first watch. You got the editing down quite well and everything about this video pretty much just feels right. I downloaded the Direct version, but I'm going to download the Local one just so I can give you a 5/5
