OK, well in Death Note ep 25, L gives a different reason for standing in the rain and says a bunch of other stuff, so the reason for this video is to have the line "I'm singing in the rain" as a response to the question. It's extremely OOC for L to be saying what's in the song, and the video is aimed at L fans.

I never said it WAS a high quality AMV... I put that in the title to lure in all the people who like to put others work down in a disdainful way, so they can read my blog (and I'm separating this group from the ones that actually do want to be helpful)
