Is "an helicopter" correct? I mean yeah it´s proper english grammer if there is no loophole, but imo "a helicopter" sounds much better .-.

btw I´m dumbest of us all in the MEP (as if you don´t know

"an" is used before words that start with a vowel. "h" is not a vowel. "a helicopter" is correct.

but in english class they taught me that words with h used "an" as well >.>U. Guess my teacher was full of gas when she taught us that

"H" is occasionally an exception when you don't pronounce it, with words like "hour" or "honest" (who says "a honest opinion"?). "A helicopter" is correct though, you're right Bauzi.

Thats true, never thought about it, just did it. Weird!! Proves English is first a spoken language than a written one.
