I see. I take it this means BloodRayne is an RPG, since you play the role of Rayne, the half vampire. I also take this to mean the Unreal Tournament 2003 is an RPG, since you take on the role of your guy in order to shoot people. Your definition is too broad and puts just about every game on the market that has characters in it in the category of RPG.

The real purpose of my post was after the spoiler warning. I figured the crack-headed duck comment would lead people to the conclusion that I was being sarcastic. In any event, RPGs mainly focus on you playing a role in a larger, cinema-like story, which Kingdom Hearts does. However, I personally would classify it as an action/RPG.

it's an rpg because you play of the role of a character and during the game characters around you and your character change their attitudes, beliefs bla bla bla stuff like that. kingdom hearts does this, unreal doesnt and rayne do not.

..just to get something straight, i didn't play it because i'm a child at heart. i played it because i was sick of adult themed titles (except for Silent Hill 2 which redefined what an adult theme is and should be).
