i made this amv yesterday, using photoshop and vegas 7. i think its different from my previous amvs., but not as good as my pokemon amv.

I was giving you the benefit of the doubt considering I love Dope..

WTF.. There is no way back from this one. You really do suck at making even slightly entertaining videos. I'm seriously dumbstruck thanks to this video. I can't even give you feedback on it because I had to turn it off 30 seconds in.. For fuck sake kid could you for ones in your life NOT fuck something as simple as this combination up? I really do feel sorry for you kid.. Actually I don't but its the thought that counts.

I totally expected torture, seeing that I usually do agree with Nio...

But you know, I looked at it, and it wasn't half bad. There's editing here. It doesn't suck. In fact the action editing's pretty good actually.

If anything, the video suffers from the lack of pacing variation and any hint of original concept - but the editing, a few rough points aside, is pretty solid. Not to sound condescending, but you did improve, definitely.

Not my type of video by a long shot, and I personally didn't get much out of it, but the intended audience should like it.

Rather than 3.5 out of 10, I'd give it 3.5/5

*edits* Now that I've finished downloading... 90% of the sync (and effects, if you can really call that effects) are off for the first minute after that it get better so that only 60% is out. scene selection often doesn't fit the music or lyric sync, although you were lyric syncing on 'Boom' most of the time... so inconsistent. It's definitely mindless, I make a lot of action but I try and incorporate a story into all of them this has nothing

Hey man, I haven't watched the vid yet, but let me tell you this : I hope the stuff in this thread will not stop you from making more AMVs. I got the VERY disturbing impression from some posts in this thread that you had actually had to please us and match our standards, and that it wasn't about you actually having fun making the video and showing it to the public. Very disturbing indeed

EDIT : Well, that wasn't bad, by a long shot. What people said about concepts and developing a storyline is true, but your editing holds up better than most around here. The effects didn't bother me, and sometimes added to the mood of the video. It got repetitive for me, but any straight action fan should enjoy this.

It's funny though, because there are so many conceptless action videos by better known editors than you that get no shit at all, no matter how random their effects are or how inexistent their story is. There's one video that comes to mind using the same anime as yours, by a pretty famous editor. Straight-up action/revenge as well, and nobody had any trouble with it.

So yeah, all in all, you're definitely improving. Keep at it
