Naruto AMV contest 500$ USD for 1st place

wow way to get some of those Americans to join your contest. I bet insulting people like that really will make them want to join faster - not to mention several of the people who commented on this thread are NOT from America anyways.

srsly.

I personally don't want to "earn money" off of my illegal productions, as it would only go to show that I'm trying to profit off of someone else's copyrighted work, and could make this look more serious than me just being a fan and wanting to show off my love for a show. (it doesn't make the hobby less illegal in the United States but it sure would go to help persuade a jury if I had to.)

and if you haven't noticed YOU<B></B>TUBE isn't exactly welcomed around here, (and why links are disabled) so I don't even know why you bring that up, like we care about it in any way.

and considering some of the scams that have gone through this forum in the past you can't blame people for being suspicious of a contest that out of nowhere claims to send monies to winners...

not to mention most contests that I've been involved with will give out DVDs and other anime goodies as prizes, but most of these contests are being ran by Conventions that would like to add another element of entertainment to their venue.

I am new to this contest and stuff.
I did not know Human Beings want 10-15$ DVD as a prize in a Contest Rather than 100-500$..
I wish I knew all this contest stuff. I thought i would get more people to join if it was for money and if the offer was good enough and I was serious about it. I wanted to see people try and show their video editing skills but NVM it looks like i had it all wrong. I will give the winner a Naruto DVD. I think that should be easier..

Brothers, when i give money as prize I get scammed i get INSULTed by other members here now when i want to give a good naruto dvd some of u dont want?
how it works i am lost. I am being good but in any case i am getting insults..

People tend to be suspicious of cash prizes, especially round here. As for the Naruto DVD, if we're making Naruto videos, then chances are we have Naruto DVDs already.

perhaps you should set the prize as a boxed set of the winner's choice?

It's not that we wouldn't WANT 500 dollars or The DVDs. It's no matter what you do, You're still new around here.. Nobody knows from past cases if you are trustworthy or not. So we're going to be skeptical no matter what.

Especially when you come off as some Youtube Noob that just wants to see some Naruto AMVs and finally emerged and realized all Youtube AMVs are shit.
