Well, after getting a kick in the rear from a few members, I've finally gotten around to finishing the video.

I have changed the entire concept of the video, so I hope people enjoy it as much.

PLEASE READ THE EXPLANATION OF THE VIDEO BEFORE WATCHING IT

If you fail to do so, the video might be confusing to some, though I think that most people could understand it.

SOOO!

Anyway:

Wow, that's one hell of a detailed concept.

/gets out of curiosity

EDIT: That was very enjoyable. The atmosphere wasn't to my liking, but that's just my personal preference anyway. I wish you would have sticked with the sorrow themes  But the mood sync was deffinitely something to watch this again and again for, along with those emotional but cheesy stories ;)

This had three original stories you made up, I assume? I haven't seen Fruits Basket, so.. I think you did pretty good. I could flollow the stories throughout the whole AMV on the first viewing with some help from your video description. But, while the stories were executed in an easy-to-follow manner, I felt like all three of them didn't get enough screen time. You knew what was happening in the video but didn't have time to get all emotional over it. Basically, I think, you just skimmed over the stories leaving a superficial effect on the video :/ It's a bit weird tihng to say about a 4-minute video, but it was too short..

Anyway, while the stories didn't have so much impact on me, I could really feel the song through your mood sync and clip selection. Also, I could tell the difference between the verses and the choruses story-telling wise, which is always a good thing, imo. It made it feel and look progressive, as it should.

The technical side of sync was a bit mah.. I liked what you were doing with the fades mixed with overlays, but the amount of regular cuts made it look annoyingly twitchy. Some smoothness would have been very appropriate for this video.. But I never noticed a clip that would clock in for too long or short. The lenght of the clips were just fine and the sync was mostly right on

The video quality wasn't too good.. The image looked fuzzy and there was something weird going on with the edges. Some better filtering next time, please?.. The audio quality was good though. And the song song was beautiful, too ^^ Totally fitting for this video.

Overall, I think it was an enjoyable video throughout. The genre wasn't exactly to my liking, but the fans will get a lot more out of this 8-) The amount of detail was impressive although, I think, you could have executed this marvellous concept better than this. For me it looked a bit too shallow and it smelled like cheese.. Real-life-cheese (if these stories really have happened to you or to people you know) but cheese anyway

3.75/5

You are going to put up an XVID of it soon right?

Anyway, I'll check it out.
Care about the video itself, not what format it's in.

I like FB.
Love Cyndi <3
and True Colors has been one of my favorite songs forever (as by Phil Collins though)

The atmosphere I liked, but scene selection could have been better.
Could've been synced a bit better.
And what was up with the video quality? o.0

But overall, enjoyed it
Very touching =D

I watched it.

It was ok. I thought you let some clips run on a bit too long, and I really didn't like the song. The singer's voice was way too annoying to me to get a sensitive feel to it. The scene selection was good, but I felt it needed a bit more syncing though.

And I agree the quality could have been a bit better. It didn't bother me or make the video unwatchable, but it could have been improved a bit more.

So overall, the only thing I really didn't enjoy was the song...so I probably won't watch it again, but it was something new to the large quantity of Fruits Basket videos.

3/5 from me.

I thought that the video quality looked fine. It's probably because I screwed up the MP4 somehow. X_X

Thanks for your comments everybody. I'll keep them in mind with my next video. ^_^

.. hmm, me thinks the "lite-blue screen of death" was trying to tell me something, but I re-started it worked.

.. no real opinion here, I just thought you might need to know about a possible Encoding error. Player, VLC.
