What is ICQ Number?
What is Skype Name?

AIM = AOL Instant Messenger

ICQ is another IM service, though it's not very widely used.

Skype is also an IM service, but it's primarily for talking to others using a microphone.

ICQ and AIM are now very uber compatible and work with each other (I have a friend on ICQ that contacts me on AIM)

Just use the Pidgin client, the only IM network it doesn't contact is Skype.
