It's actually 6 DVDs per round. 11 DVDs is so you have enough DVDs to compete all the way if you happen to make it to the final round. But yeah, you pretty much can make a new list of 6 DVDs each round. 11 DVDs is just the minimum you need.Kevmasterflashdeluxe wrote:Another Question about the 11 DVD's we have to chose came in my Mind.
When the first Round is finished, do we have to keep the same 11 DVD's in the next round or can we chose another 11?

Does masking count as subclipping in this instance?AtomX wrote:When you get your 24 hours to prepare your source, you can prep it however you normally do it. That means, if you use Magix or whatever, you can feel free to sub-clip your source (which many editors do prior to editing as it is). Same goes for sub-clipping within Premiere. If you normally have another timeline with random scenes on it, that's fine.Douggie wrote:- Is it allowed to put stuff into your editing timeline BEFORE the actual time of editing? I mean, I always sort scenes in a seperate timeline and it would certainly save some time if this was allowed (some make clips and sort them in seperate directory which is the same, but done in a different way). I know, noone would notice if you do, but hey, honor system!

Last year, I believe, people played with that loophole, masking within the 24 hours before editing, and Brad basically said he would change the rules (or at least, be more specific in that regard) and disallow any masking before the 2 hour editing period.Kitsuner wrote:Does masking count as subclipping in this instance?
I assume it'll be the same this time around.

That's what I was thinking too, but I figured it couldn't hurt to get it spelled out in this year's thread for the newcomers.dokool wrote:Isn't that covered by the Bashar Rule?Kitsuner wrote:Does masking count as subclipping in this instance?
