My friend and I were having a chat about editing with speakers or earphones. I like editing with earphones mainly because you can hear the audio alot better than speakers. He disagrees and said listening to the audio from a distance will help you focus on your pattern and flow, or some shit like that. Does it really matter if you edit with speakers or earphones? If so, which one would you prefer?

well when you have earphones on you can hear more of the detailed beats and what not.
But i'd rather just go with speakers...
cause earphones hurt the ears

i've always edited with speakers because when i watch a video, i'm using my speakers. It may annoy my roommates but oh well

I always did with speakers. Mhmm I guess I should try the editing experience with earphones, but all in all I get the beats.

Hey and when I have the earphones on. I couldn´t really watch tele while editing. =P

If I used headphones I wouldn't annoy my wife by constantly playing 3 seconds of the throughout an entire day. Why would I possibly do something that WON'T annoy her?

i use headphones most of the time because i live in an apartment where people like to complain about noise levels >:[

I use headphones because when I started making AMVs, it was in college and I had a roommate and I'm a nice person. I actually do pretty much everything on my computer with headphones.

They're just better,and they annoy my family when I edit (I just love this part of editing ^^)
