episode 16 was epic win on so many levels

and yea that mikuru cosplayer did not sound like mikuru at all, except when she said "clasified information"

poor Akira, for an Idol they sure treat her like trash

OMG, double episode release!

I actually liked episode 17 because of the fact it focused on Kagami, and she's the girl I prefer. That second to last segment that deals with her and her other sisters lasted a bit longer than usual, but it brought out how their relationships work. It was actually quite a nice change of pace.

You know what's interesting about episode 18? The new crop of characters who are first-years, Yutaka, Minami, Patty, and Hiyori can hold off pretty well by themselves. You can make a spin-off out those four girls.

Now for the amusing moments:

ED sequence involved Minoru actually singing really nicely. Supposedly it's a love song towards Tsukasa's seiyuu Kaori Fukuhara who was wearing a wedding dress. Then came the end.....

Supposedly there's been rumors that those two are actually going out, and it's sort of reflected in the series itself. I guess you can make a stretch on the fact why Tsukasa's phone bill is though the roof, and Minoru not telling Akira about who's texting him.

Good to see a.f.k. catching up to the series, thoroughly enjoyed eps 17 and 18.

Looking forward to Comiket this weekend and picking up a few (god willing not 18+) Lucky Star items, including some nifty-looking holographic cards that a group is putting out.

Also, for hardcore fans of the OP, last week "もってけ! セーラーふくRe-Mix001～7 burning Remixers～" was released. Seven producers doing 5-7 minute remixes of the song. PURE GOLD.

Wholeheartedly agreed. What's your favorite? I'm basically partial to everything except tracks 3 and 5 (the slow ones), but I must say track 2 is quite hot.

I also finally picked up the ending theme disc tonight, and I challenge anyone to produce evidence that the cast singing the Doraemon theme isn't the cutest thing ever.
