I thought the AMV was a lot more about cool moments, poseing and showing recognizable/overused scenes than it was about dancing. I'd say about half of the footage didn't even include any kind of dancing, so maybe that's why it seems to lack a bit of energy for a dancing video.

Thanks everyone for comments, I really appreciate them.

As I can see, many people mentioned that this video is a bit too low on energy for a dance vid. It's true that fitting in more scenes would make it a lot faster and that crossed my mind a couple of times during editing. But there were two reasons why I didn't make it so:
1) I was running low on dance scenes cuz I haven't watched many anime that have them.
2) I didn't think that it would help me achieve what I wanted, and that is to sync camera and character's movements with beats and singer's voice. Weather it be with 3 straight cuts or on longer scenes, it didn't matter to me.
I hope this is what you meant by low energy

Well, you can hardly find video almost completely filled with dancing scenes. And big number of dance videos doesn't actually contain dance scenes. Those non-dance parts were there to build-up the mood and good feeling (what dance video actually do

).
