Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Beyond the Clouds

Post by » AceMan » Wed Aug 01, 2007 7:16 am

Hi ho,

I had released this vid about 2 weeks ago, a one hour before my holiday trip, so I didn't have time to put an info here.
So I do it now :)

I'm not fully satisfied with the result - it could've been better.

More info in the vid description.

Enjoy, I hope :)

lol i just wrote it an op asking why i hadn't seen it in the announcement forum xD

About it... well very stylish as your other works, but the repetitive effects get a little boring near the end. Superb video quality!

4/5 more nfo in the op ;)

EDIT: WOOOO, the demo you linked to was very impressive @_@

Holy...

This is definitely in my top five favorite BtC videos. I love this kind of editing style - you kept up with the beat of the video and the camera movements you used worked really well with the mood and the song. Not really original, but man, this was still awesome. Very few BtC videos capture me like this one did. Spectacular

^ like he said

Although, some of the transitions seemed kinda.. out of place? Not flowing very smoothly. But who cares, it's a fantastic video! Really brilliant use of that shakiness effect. I love it, especially when used well. I really want that effect for Sony Vegas too

Isn't it? :) If you're into Goa/Psy-Trance music, then you should check out their other productions ("Instant Zen" is the only non-trance demo they've released).

I have answered to your opinion, thanks :)

Btw, do you still need that effect from Daydreamer? I forgot to check it for you...

Emong: Which transitions do you mean? And about this shakiness effect - if I remember correctly it was some kind of blur effect which comes with the Sapphire Plugins. I can check it if you're interested.

Thanks for replies guys, I'm glad you like it :)
