ArcSoft ShowBiz is basically the same as Windows Movie Maker (the interface is fairly similar, too).

The cheapest and most effective way without buying better editing software is to use AviSynth and VirtualDub(Mod) to create a reversed video clip: http://www.rehanfx.org/tips.htm#Reverse_Video
Having trouble playing back videos? I recommend: Image

if this is the Same as WMM ... then just erase WMM and keep THIS 8-)

you'll be much happier using this and following Willen's advice.

.. its not a TRUE editor; but with AviSynth -- it could become your best cheap alternative to a Video Editor.

Now here's a trick which most people ignore;
1) Rip the DVD.
2) Use VirtualDubMOD to get the Clips needed.
3) Edit with AviSynth and VirtualDubMOD.
4) Use your Arcsoft finishing software to clean-up the final cut to VOB.
5) use VirtualDubMOD to create your AMV from your VOB into an xvid AVI.
6) use a regular VirtualDub program with LLAME to compress your Audio with the Video in Direct Mode.
7) upload your completed AMV. It should be a 20 to 40meg file at that point.

.. someone somewhere has announced this process for making AMV's somewhere ..
