  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Same here. The atmosphere of this video is easy to grasp and, even though I probably am missing a lot here as AtomX pointed out about the need of familiarity with the show, I still managed to get the basic idea out of this.

I'm not too sure about the intro part or the effects you used, but they seemed to work just fine. I'm thinking that maybe the effects got a bit repetitive after a while, but on the other I did like how they were visually related to the anime.

8/10

Well, I wasn't trying to say that you NEED to have seen the show to get the feeling intended in the video. I'm just saying that I do certainly think it helps quite a bit. But as several people have already said, they haven't seen the show yet still got into the video. Hence being familiar with the show would only make it that much better.

Nice Editing and atmoshpere, but I hated the Anime (mainly because of the Character design I guess), felt like it was a little repetive as well.

As I've posted other places: Loved the video 10/10. Great concept and execution. Cuts were timed perfectly as far as I could tell. You got robbed at Otakon, but submit the video to a judged con and I think you would win for sure.

Definitely think that it being a non-mainstream show and requiring people to really analyze the composition and connect on an emotional level with the characters hurts the vote at fan-vote cons. Most attendees just don't have the right mentality to appreciate something like this.

PS: I don't even want to know how long it took you to time-match the "dancing squares" on the sides of the video... 0_o

In 99% cases romance is not my style... but this AMV is great I must say... nice sync, anime and song nicely fits, relaxing, professional... 5/5 even if it is not for me like I said...
Way to go VegettoEX! I have big respect for you, for everything you're doing...same for this...keep the great work!

all the approvals to the gambitt & MeriC also...
