- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

good music ^__^

there were a few problems:
.. notice the interlacing problem when you fold the pictures from the upper right of the AMV ( you know where I'm talking about.
? at 1:32 .. who saw saying "who dewing" ? -- erase it!
? at 3:13 and 3:17, the swords were too loud!
.. MP42 is not a very good Codec for AMV's .. try reloading your project and save it to a non-lossy codec .. then use MeGUI to make the final encode.
.. 22k audio, no! Upgrade your Audio to 44k or 48k speeds @ 192 bit rate.
.. Your Audio has nothing to do with the size of your AMV; that was your choice of Video Codec's that made it 74meg final encode.
.. as far as entering a Contest, make these adjustments and you should be fine
on the Concept .. 5/5 .. if everything was corrected, 5/5
on the current presentation .. 2/5 -- 22k audio died with Windows 95 >_<

Not entirely true. If you fail to compress your audio... it can result in a file size about 2-3 times the size of the video file (hence why uncompressed WAV files are around 30-40mb in size added with about 30-40mb of video data)post-it wrote: .. He was talking about Libavcodec MPEG-4. MP4 is just the container for the codec like h.264. Same as AVI is for DivX and XviD just as an example.post-it wrote:memo: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=96032 from the Design teamMinion wrote: mp4 is now a codec? i didn't get this memo![]()
