rectangle appears(Vegas)

Can anyone tell me why a small rectangle appears on the screen every time I add a plug-in?

perhaps you dont have your preview set up to show the plug in over the whole image...

does it render that way as well?

i havent rendered it yet. is there a way to change it so the preview shows the whole image?
