Good Quick Comments?

Post by Esrhan » Thu Jun 07, 2007 10:13 am

Do they exist? :|

And I don't mean the kind where the overall message is "I liked it" or "I want your baby". I mean the the ones that actually say something else besides boosts/kills your ego.

Does this count?

2006-06-11 18:27:29Good effort but the continuity of the video felt scattered. The scenes didn't capture or portray alot of the lyrics, mainly just the surface. I do love Bandit King Jing as a show and I think with a little more variety in your scene selection your next effort could be better. -Kisanzi

my two favorite QCs from Something Fishy are:
I've tried the tuna in a bag before and I do admit that it's more convenient and the texture of the tuna is a bit better. But I miss the whole ritual of using the can opener, draining the water or oil by sqeezing the top onto the tuna, and then scooping out the fish. With all the pull top cans available now, I think tuna is the only canned food that I use the can opener for now. Well, maybe the occasional can of corn, but I digress. When I grew up, my family would only purchase Coral brand tuna (which is a Hawaii-only brand of Bumblebee: http://www.bumblebee.com/products_fam.jsp?famid=1 ), although currently I have 4 cans of Bumblebee in my pantry since it was on sale cheaper than Coral at the time. Plus, I think the only difference is the label. They sure taste the same. Oh, the video? I was amused. And the song was a blast to my past. 5 stars. --Willen
OK I work in a grocery store and now im not gonna be able to go down isle 5 with out laughing I heart your dedication randomness
I like both because they relate more to personal experience, rather than going for the typical "you rock/you suck"

nor do either get into sarcastic jokes, gags, sexual inuendos or whatever else people (as in my friends) usually use QCs for... i appreciate the jokes and the gags and all cause they usually make me laugh... but they rarely have anything to do with the video...

hearing the same "advice" over and over also gets old and i eventually get to the point when i read it and think "i really dont care if you think its too long" (or whatever the main complaint maybe)... so, i start tuning those ones out.. especially when i dissagree with the "advice" O.o

# 2007-03-21 12:31:24It told a decent story and was pretty decent. About the one comment you had posted in the description from the other user, upgrading from Windows Movie Maker to something else would be helpful as programs such as premiere make it much easer to add effects and whatnot which could have made your video more standout. Not bad overall, you have the vision, you just need the tools to bring it to life.

While I disagree that a good program is what makes the vid, I did like the effort they put into the QC.

I'll occasionally leave an informative quick comment beyond just "I liked it" or something shallow like that.

If I find a video that hasn't been announced, the editor is still active, and I think they have potential I'll leave essentially a mini-op.

Most of the time when I try to form the qc, I get to the point that it would be nearly as long as an op, but I´m too lazy for an op and I leave it that way.

However I give good and bad qc.

... and I keep the flameing qc for kidding for Kaxi´s amvs.
Or the amv is really really bad and I´m pissed because of it...
