quite some moody stuff, although I expected longer videos wirth this kind of slow-paced editing/song...
then again, the editing was quite good, jaspers edits seemed to be more competent in a way, yet otos segment had me interested longer than hers (guess its becuase of those outro overlays |:< )

Interesting that you thought it was moody... we were originally going to do a "mood video IC," though neither one of us can really claim to know exactly what that entails. But we were looking at music that was going to encourage editing along those lines. In the end though, we picked a song that didn't quite take us in that direction. I want to emphasize this quote because, comparisons aside, I'm starting to suspect that this might be a problem with my more recent videos - the editing is there, but ultimately, the videos themselves are just not very interesting. Easily my 2nd favorite series overall and most favorite series visually (if you can get used to the visuals). Totally see it! It won lots of animation awards in Japan in 2005.

Thanks for the responses! Personally, I think those who have seen the series will find my segment a little uncreative, it's really a sort of 'scene remix', and I would've done lots more with it if I was less broke and could finish buying the rest of the series on DVD
...I was not too broke to get a new monitor yesterday, however, and this was the coolest thing I did to it yet:
