The beginning was very promising but then the length of the clips stretched too much and it ceased being any fun (for example the 00:00:22 clip - after a promising start, one long clip with exaggerated effects to ruin it). The effects in the beginning worked too but they slowly degenerated into a total black/blue/pink mess.
I would suggest to avoid any unnecessary lip-flap in your next work.
I see what was your intention but those long clips just don't work in an AMV.
But you're getting better little by little.
Last suggestion: read the guides, listen to the advices, watch good AMVs, take your time and one day maybe...
After dozen of his videos being rejected and him still not understanding why, because he himself sees them as good (nobody's the same) I'm not surprised too much.Cornwiggle wrote:He would if everyone said THEY like them. Notice how he says "HOPEFULLY this one is good" he completly relies on what everyone else thinks and not himself.
On the other hand Cornwiggle points out one of your problems (at least I think) - and that might be lack of self-criticism. Just look for every flaw your video might have, watch others' videos and figure it out.
I know this video is not that good... I didn't sync it that well, I was trying to make it look like the PV, and I was going for the mood, but I thought that the clip on the bridge was twice as long as it should have been, and overall most of the clips were too long...
