Okay, now I understand making videos for yourself - but shouldn't making videos for yourself at least involve some sort of effort in making it as good as you can, so you can be proud of it?

I mean hey, I'm working on a purely personal video right now, but I've allowed beta-testers in and they uh... totally raped it, resulting in me erasing large chunks of the thing and starting them from scratch. And I've accepted they were totally right and will probably put in dozens of hours more - despite the fact that I know the result will never be a popularly-appealing vid (at best. at worst noone but me will actually like it.)

I don't know about "kickass", but I personally don't understand how a <u>halfass</u> job on anything can make one feel good.

I'm starting to think our friend here just enjoys the attention he gets from posting this travesty. Perhaps we should start paying less attention? That might help him more

Here's a radical suggestion;

how about everyone just stop replying to his threads until he brings a video that has some sort of improvement in it? That way, by not getting attention so easily, he'll have to work for it and actually listen to all the wonderful suggestions various people have made.

Or is my boycotting idea too naive of me?

I'll keep replying just because I want to see if he's capable of producing more total crap that Sailor Earth. I figure at one video a day it'd take him about 2/3 a year.

So kickass331, you suck and have been told repeatedly how to improve but ignore it. Keep doing what you're doing and you too could be a total joke.

I'll do that right after conet gets finished. Which means I should be ready to start sometime around late 2009.
