Ah, but this is where you make a mistake. She's not looking at the flowers, she's looking at the nametag ON the flowers. At least in this story :P

but nice vid =]
Thanks! Major kudos on getting the eye thing :D

Thanks for all the comments, everybody! The generally positive feedback was a big surprise to me, and it's really made my week, at least.

By the way, if you hadn't noticed, the Xvid version is now up, Katie :P

Finally, the AVI is up. I'll check it out. If I like it enough, I'll download it locally so I can leave an OP. Otherwise, I'll just post back here. :)

That was a good vid. I liked the editing a lot towards the half mark, I didn't like some parts after that though, like the still shot picture or stuff. But I would give this a 3.7/5. So nice job, I would probably round it to 4.

Mmmm,cool vid. :D
Basically,I liked the aura it had thanks to the marvellous song.I haven't watched Spirited Away, therefore I couldn't understand a lot about it but it seemed like a dream,a journey to another world.A truly beautiful job in the domain of setting the story.
As for editing,it followed the synch at some places and was free at others. But overall,it was good for the atmosphere you created. As for the multiple overlays at the middle I found them pretty interesting.

Well,Greg,I can now understand what you were talking to me in AIM about the concept of an amv... 8-)

Finally getting around to commenting on this. :o

Nice work, for the most part. I know people have already brought this up, but I'll say it anyway: I wasn't really fond of the cutout shapes and the masking toward the end. Both parts seemed to break off the flow of the video, and I think you could have easily done without them (more so the shapes, if anything).

However, I really loved the atmosphere of this video. The song is beautiful as it is, and it just seemed to fit so well with the concept of the video (I don't know about the lyrics, but the mood at least). The ending was very nice, and I liked how it tied back to the beginning, with her falling asleep in the car. The main thing I would say is that I wish you would have stuck with a more simplistic nature, and wouldn't have added in all those cookie cutter shapes. Otherwise, good stuff, I enjoyed it.
