this was a really highly rated series that i was thinking about getting...but would kinda like to know what everybody else thought of it....

I've only seen the TV series. Almost everyone I've talked to said the OAV was much better, so if that's the case, then it must be pretty good.

El-Hazard: The Magnificent World - An amazing series. Drama, action all mixed perfectly.
El-hazard: The Wanderers - Alot more focused on comedy
El-hazard: Alternate World - Sequel to Magnificent World. I found it quite boring save the last episode.
El-Hazard: Manga - This is the manga. Its a mix of the first two series. It is very good and worth the read.

Note The first two El-Hazards are completely different. They have the similar basis of a transportation to a different world and the main characters are the same (pretty much) but the stories are different.

I found El Hazard: The Wanderers to carry on a bit too long and get no where fast. Also a bit anti-climatic and predictable.

But that is the only one I have seen so far. Still enjoyable.

Yes. With two lesbians and a seperate love square (only one guy involved), things are complicated.
