I don't know if I classify as "hard-working", but I am a FLCL fan (see my signature).

However, I think you'll find that people on these forums tend to think there have been enough FLCL threads already in the past that nobody needs to start a new one.

likewise, I don't know about "hard-working"

However... since I'm not here a lot, I hadn't noticed the FLCL threads.
I'm a fan of the show, but I am frightened about how bad the US release of it is going to be.

I have not seen the US release in any form, but I've heard many the bad thing about the company that did so.

Still... I love FLCL

I thought the U.S release of FLCL was pretty good. Heck, they included the director's commentary for each episode, and the dubbing was pretty decent.

Director's commentary, English dub outtakes, image galleries, three different versions of the textless ending, the pillows' "Ride On Shooting Star" music video, booklets that included all sorts of commentary, interviews, etc., as well as translations of the manga sequences in Episodes 1 and 6, printed out in their entirety.

Only problem was the price: $30 per DVD when each disc only has 2 episodes. And about 5 months passed between releases.

The version that was broadcast on Adult Swim was really good. Now I just need to see the subtitled version.
Probably too busy to be here right now.

Raises hand.

I haven't seen the dub and don't intend to, but I think you can call me an FLCL fan nevertheless...

YAY! Stick to the subbing on this one! It's AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL! Yup, I'm a big FLCL fan. Actually, I'm also a Gainax fan and a Yoshiyuki Sadamoto fan so FLCL is a big happy thing for me.

Britt: The worst! I was aiming at the horse.

I am also an FLCL fan. I have seen both versions, subbed and in english, and I am very satisfied with them.

the US release was okay...but Synch Point were assholes about it from what I've heard. I've heard horror stories such as some of their men in black showed up at a con and pretty much told the people they weren't allowed to show the "japanese" dvds of FLCL which they had no rights too (they should only have rights to 'their' US release). This of course made me question buying their release of FLCL...but seing how the Jap release was 1 ep per dvd..I didn't see it worth paying the import price for 6 dvd's...
