The Worst Intro/Ending...

Post by Moonlight Soldier » Sun Jul 06, 2003 12:16 pm

Here's a new thread for ya...What do you consider the worst Intro/Ending song from an anime???

My top choice would have to be the Fruits Basket songs....*shudders* such crappy songs...such a crappy singer....

Do dubs count? DBZ *cough*

If not. I was never fond of El Hazard's TV series opening

Opening...not sure...unless one counts Dragonball GT's dub opening *shudders*

Closing...Berserk (nonsensical Engrish lyrics is one thing...at least the opening had a decent tune to go with it...the closing doesn't even have that)

Initial D, any theme from anywhere in any of the series.

Did I mention that I hate Initial D?

Excel Saga ending song thing. Meshi singing about being eaten was cute once or twice, but after that i go so fed up. They should've had more of Nabeshin, maybe his afro song or something. Or something involing Pedro, cuz everyone loves Pedro.

The US releases include some very funny gags in the end credits to Excel Saga, if you can read fast enough. Like having the word 'puchuu' turn up in almost every word (eg Effects: Industrial Smoke, Mirrors and Puchuus).

I saw that once...and thought maybe it was a special for that episode, or maybe i was going insane from watching all the dvds at once.

Each episode has a different pun or something funny going on.

How about the gawdawful ending theme to Trigun? M ears wept after hearing it.

And jumping pn bad dubs, has anyone forgot the American Sailor Moon opening with the third rate off-key children's choir?
