I did a little test on a portion of my video that had really bad rainbowing. It would seem when I kept filtering the footage I eventually got rid of the rainbowing. It just took about seven run throughs of the filter to get rid of it. >_<
So I guess that means, at least in my case, if you filter it enough you can get rid of those pesky rainbows.
