Thus far, I have to say that I like it.

My suggestions for things you have done currently would be:

1. Watch the lip sync. You need to absolutely make sure that when you don't want lip, that no one's mouth is moving. I noticed a few parts where the mouths were moving, and it wasn't intentional. Also, when you do have that boy lip sync, try to make sure that his mouth movements aren't going too much faster than the words. Right now, he's going just a little too fast. Still, that little bit of lip you added does do good things for your video. It really gives it that extra spice to make it interesting.

2. Your beat sync is generally very good, but there were a few times when you switched scenes and there was no beat to switch it on. Remember, there's no shame in a long clip, if that's how long it really is between beats.

3. In the first fifteen seconds, the piano part is the most important "beat." So, I think that you might consider synching that the same way you synched it at about 1:50. In fact, you might consider synching it that way at any part in the song where you hear that melody. It adds to the continuity of your video greatly when you return to certain editing patterns or effects several times throughout the video.

4. Be careful not to overuse an effect. You had a tendency to overlay images with the same one, but slightly closer. That does work, but use it in moderation. It gets hard on the eyes after a while.

Basically, if you just keep going the way you are and maybe tweak it with a few of the things I mentioned, I think you'll have a really good video. I mean, I've made ten videos (as opposed to your six) and your stuff is a lot better than mine, so you must be doing something right.

I hope some of the comments help.

As always, Farewell, Good Luck, and Happy AMV-ing!

PS: I'm still very surprised that you don't have more opinions (I was one of the people who reviewed "Kauas" - in fact, I've been promoting it in my signature ever since I saw it). Your work is very good and deserves recognition.

You're very welcome. I aim to please. ^_~

Hey, if you're still there, when do you think your video will be finished? I'd like to see the completed product in time. I probably won't offer an opinion this time, just because I don't know the anime and the video seems pretty story-driven, but I'll still give you some comments on it if you post in the AMV Announcements forum when you've uploaded it.
