You know I noticed that not a lot of people on here listen to any actual Japanese music. I'm not talking about the music on anime, I'm talking about REAL Japanese music. I was just wondering if there was anyone out there that actually listens to JRock? You know like T.M. Revolution, Dir en grey, the back horn, hide, Miyavi, SADS, metronome, Psycho le Cemu...etc....Akira is feeling awefully lonely, so if anyone, ANYONE out there actually listens to Japanese music, leave a post. ^^

I think this is a rather inaccurate statement, seeing as I have no clue how you can accurately calculate how much people listen to Japanese music [many or less] here on the org.

Since when was music used in anime not real Japanese music? Every song composed in the language/origin is Japanese music to me.

To somewhat answer you post, yes I do. And I am sure I am not the only one, nor the few. : )

Bullshit. there's a bunch of people here to listen to J-Rock and J-pop. along with that, what the hell is Real japanese music as opposed to fake japanese music?

XDDD I didn't mean to insult people. I am from Japan, and it's not that I don't consider anime music to not be rel Japanese music, but a lot of people say that all Japanese music is like that in the anime. I am not very good in English and perhaps I have phrased myself wrong.

What I meant to say was that in most of these forums that I have read here, I have not noticed any one speak of JRock. I am not a big fan of "JPop" and that seems to be the majority of what people are interested in in these forums. I am sorry if I offended you, I did not mean it to be so. I was only looking for fans of JRock, in Japan, we call JRock "real music". I'm sorry if that seemed offending.

Lets see, I have been an X-Japan fan for years, and I also listen to Dir en grey, Gackt, B'z, and Ulfuls ^^

That's great! I really love X-Japan, I'm glad to learn that people in America like them, too. I have also heard that Gackt is very popular here.

Though on a more personal note, I can understand where you're coming from - the stereotype of crappy Jpop music used in anime weakens the status of anime music in Japan upon Jrock fans. This hasn't been the first time I've heard this. ^^;
