I accidentally stumbled upon the video while searching for how those durned Miku concerts work. This seems way more holographic than the current Miku concerts, as in those she is projected on a fine mesh screen. I wonder if they'll eventually use this technology in place of their current one for her projection.
I just thought it was something interesting that I should share. Maybe someone can tell me how it even works. I thought light had to be reflected off objects. Is the light just reflecting off the other light from the projectors? How do they get the light to even stop?
IDK, but my mind has been sufficiently blown.
Of course they need to make the projected image more clear and improve the viewing angle, but it's still pretty freaking sweet. I was hoping the whole time someone was going to poke it to see what happens.
Next stop, holodecks
