Way WAY back when, about the only anime I had seen were Ranma and Tenchi. I couldn't think of anything for computer names, so my main computer has always been named Washu with secondary computers named Ryoko, Ayeka, etc.

For awhile I had a theme going with HD names, various ones I've used are 'Bugger Off', 'Screw Off', 'Go Away', 'Go To Hell', 'Fuck Off' and an external named 'Crash on me, I dare you'.

The last one broke the naming trend, but at the time I was pissed that one of my drives died. When I got a replacement, I took it out of the box, set it on the ground, and smashed the dead drive with a heavy rock right in front of the new ones horrified eyes. Then I gave it a name to make sure the new drive will always remember it's fate if it fucks with me. Seems to have the desired effect so far.

My nook (ebook reader) is named 'Illiterate Bastard'

I named my penis Treebeard, like the ent from lord of the rings becau-

OH, THAT HARDWARE!

My PC is named Old Rusty Because it's old and a piece of shit.
My PS3 is named Waifu because I love it.

Those are really the only two that matter enough for me to name.

[Name]Compy - My Desktop PC, it has sexai Sailor Moon sticker by KikaiSaigono on it, and two of Doki's stickers.
MiniMoon - My netbook.
Sakura - My laptop. Has cute fansticker of Sakura from TRC on it :)
Firefly - 1TB external where all my rips/footage goes.
Yarrr - Internal 500GB drive for movies/tv I'm watchin' ... >_>
Muzak - 250GB external; all my music/amvs
MeinDisky - My 8GB thumb drive. It's purple :3
Hotaru - Internal 1TB drive. Saturn ref.
Marshmallow - My car, it's a white Pontiac Vibe. In the winter, it becomes a burnt marshmallow because of all the icky slush. Hanging from its dash is Yuki Nagato and Gingy from Shrek. Also a plethora of band/anime buttons inside.

I think my PS3 and Wii are also named Firefly >_>
And my MP3 is dubbed Piece of Crap, because it is and one of these days I will replace it.

Not much naming going on here. Generically, I call my laptop and desktop "the lappy" and "the compy," but as legit names go...

Laptop - International Computational Device (brother bought it for me for study abroad and named it that). After the OS had to be re-installed, he re-named it Jennifer's Fireball of Doom.
Desktop - I was in a hurry and named it the first thing that came to mind, which was The Portal Device.
.mp3 player - no real name, but sometimes affectionately called Sparky because of static electricity building up in the winter and causing my earbuds to shock the insides of my ears.

Chi - oldest laptop
Freya - external drive that used to be dedicated only to Chi (get it? Chobits? XD)
Yuki - main PC
Yuzuki - external drive that serves everything
Asakura - my Nokia 6110 Navigator
KOS-MOS - my Nokia E72

All of them are basically named after robotic or computer like anime characters. The only thing one that broke the pattern is my latest external drive which is GN Drive. I should rename it Veda... :P
