Darn, the two Dutch people got beaten by VNS! Congrats aerialesque! And the other winners of course! Well, it was a good match though, she got the better vid with scenes put in that gave more impact to the viewer than any of scenes I put in my vid. Well, you live and you learn!

I just should've seen Millenium Actress before putting it to my list: most of the scenes are war-related or there's a old lady in it. It was quite a bad choice of me to put in war-related scenes in a upbeat and colorful song, plus putting the saturation down in the beginning didn't help much. Also, I should remember that cutting the song too much (in the end I forgot I cut so much that I thought there wasn't any other text!) will lose a lot of build-up and structure, lowering the impact of the vid.

Moral of the story: typography can't save you all the time!

Now it's over, I'm glad I won't have to work with that many overlays, crossfades and beatflashing anymore!

About the other mathches, the results are pretty surprising and I'm sure there are more surprises to come later on! I can't wait!

edit: now that I'm out the race, I would thank the coordinators and judges to make this tourney possible and thanks AtomX for putting that stupid song in my head for 2 days straight!

I'm pretty statisfied. Arjuna was the best fitting source of the 5 for this song so I got pretty lucky there, but I also managed to do twice as much editing than in my Round 1 Video

Nice job Ileia, especially given the circumstances

But also sad that almost all other Europeans got wiped
