Alright, so it's not the prettiest thing out there :D But if I'm not replicating video games I can't do much in Photoshop

I made a banner (in my profile) for the video project, but if anyone else feels like they can make a better one (which shouldn't be too hard) and wants to, please by all means feel free to. Also, if you want to use mine in your profile, go right ahead as well.

Hey, welcome to the Org first of all.

Hopefully all of the pieces of the video will be done by Halloween, Oct. 31. As soon as I get all of them I'm going to compile them together, and it'll be available for download (probably on my overloaded server).

Just keep paying attention to this thread or look for my signature in any of my posts as it will have a link to the download as well.

After some beta-testing of my track i realised that subtitles with lyrics would help a lot (unless i'm the only one attempting lyric sync). Separate file or mkv - whatever the coordinator finds more appropriate.

And my track can be taken off the website.

Have a question about what you want sent.

Do you want a filtered Huff, or do you want it encoded in some other codec? I have a completed, filtered Huff and I was wondering whether you wanted that or not, also should we make the encodes 23.976 fps? This would make it a smaller encode.

Just some thoughts.

@ Lucas: I'm not really sure about subtitles, I haven't thought of that before. The only reason I'd say preferably no subtitles is that it may look out of place, but if you want to send me a beta with the subs in there, I'd be happy to take a look at it.

@ Brolly: The Huff is good, you should have a file around 200-600 megs probably? It really doesn't matter about the fps, I can convert either that or 29.97, but if you can make a 29.97 and have room for it, I'll just go ahead and work with the larger file size.

It would just be easier if everyone put it in 23.976 fps. Then you wouldn't have to do it, and there won't be any issues with sound/syncing. Besides, it's not hard, everyone should just put this in their script when their done:

Assumefps(23.976)

Then just make another Huff. This will help with the filesize because there will be less frames to encode.

I see your point but a lot of people have already submitted their parts for the project.

Just go ahead and submit it either way you prefer, the reason a lot of people are going with 29.97 is for tighter syncing, so I've been taking it that way as well. But either way you want is fine, just let me know.

So then I guess the main question is what the project as a whole is going to be encoded as. Is it going to be 29.97fps or 23.976fps?
